Introduction

Global Olympiad Zone is an online platform that provides students with the opportunity to participate in olympiads, exams, and tests across a range of subjects. The platform was built entirely by a single developer using a tech stack that included Reactjs, Firebase, and Sanity.io.

Objectives

The primary objective of the project was to build an online platform that would allow students to sign up for different subjects and participate in live and upcoming tests. The platform needed to be user-friendly and easy to use, with an intuitive interface and efficient registration and testing processes.

Process

The project began with research to understand the client's requirements and to identify the best technologies to use. Once the research was complete, a roadmap was created summarizing the project requirements and milestones. Wireframes were designed to visualize the layout of the platform.

Next, the UI/UX of the platform was designed using Figma, ensuring that it was intuitive and easy to use for students. Once the design was approved, development began using Reactjs for the front-end and Firebase for the database and authentication.

Results

The final product was a user-friendly platform that met all the client's requirements. Students were able to sign up for different subjects and participate in live and upcoming tests easily and efficiently. The platform was well-received by students, who appreciated its simple and intuitive design and efficient registration and participation processes.

In addition to the platform, a website was also created using NextJS and Sanity.io as the CMS. The website served as a landing page for the platform, providing information about the features and benefits of the platform, as well as a sign-up form for new users.

Conclusion

The Global Olympiad Zone project was a success, thanks to the use of the latest technologies and a thorough understanding of the client's requirements. The project was delivered on time and within budget, meeting all the client's objectives. The platform helped the client establish a strong presence in the ed-tech industry, providing students with valuable resources for learning and testing.
